Ahmed Madobe "The Odd One” By Abdideck

Following the outcome of the Ahmed Madobe self-styled and generally manipulated elections in Jubbaland State. Many Somalis regarded Ahmed Madobe as a former Alshabaab violent extremist who didn’t possesses any records of abandoning his extremism ideology as he is one of the founders and greatest masterminds of the establishment Alshabaab violent extremist group and their tailored cells of operative networks.

The pain caused by a thorn inside a  contaminated water is only known to the person who stepped on it, this is the same pain the voiceless and most vulnerable people of Jubbaland has been living with for the last decade. Madobe already turned Jubbaland State into a breading zone, a safe haven and a host for many local and international spoilers’ cartels who are very keen in disrupting the country's stability and recent development gains on social, economical and political fronts. However the federal government along with its international partners shared and presented Ahmed Madobe regime the acceptable criteria for conducting an inclusive, fair, transparent and credible elections in Jubbaland State and bring all clan onboard the election, but the former extremist treated the FGS and International Community (IC) recommendations like beating a drum for a deaf person while Madobe’s act of negligence was deliberately to undermining the FGS constitutional mandate to facilitate state elections and fully enforce state buildings, stabilizations and institutional reform programs in all parts of the country.

Ahmed Madobe who maintained direct reliance and political affiliation with Nairobi government which aggressively claimed parts of Somalia territorial waters and often showcased disrespect for Somalia’s sovereignty is currently the only and the biggest threat making Somalia image within its internal and external affairs to look a mess at global perspectives.

The role of IC in Somalia’s state building efforts is puzzling and sometimes increases hopelessness among the Somali people as they aimlessly or intentionally add more fuel into already explosive local politics. The IC did not officially recognized the outcome of Ahmed Madobe led controversial election in Jubbaland State, on the other hand they don’t support the FGS interventions in Jubbaland State, especially Gedo region which was a stronghold for Jubbaland’s Minister for Security, Mr. Abdirashid Janan who is a fugitive accused of human rights violations and crimes against humanity by UN-Monitoring Group and Amnesty International and as the FGS plan to liberate the official administrative headquarters of Jubbaland State and other districts in Middle and Lower Jubba regions; the combination of IC approaches to Somalia’s local politics is very concerning, especially their approaches to the unfolding political situation of Jubbaland is beyond imaginable. The office of United States Ambassador to Somalia termed Ahmed Madobe as Jubbaland State President in his latest press release calling for an urgent meeting between FGS and FMS.

I am among the many people who believe that it is not the last attempt for Madobe to bypass the Somali federal government constitution and its mandatory obligation to enforce the rules of laws within its boundaries.

Ahmad Madobe will remain the biggest political spoiler in the history of the Somalia national politics and stability.

  4. Too unfortunate that someone want to Feed the poort local such unforeseen grave concerns against one regional president representing thousands of people. It amounts to waste of time reading such an article containing hate speech and or creating articles containing propaganda. I would advise you to Atleast use more or less diplomatic terms in feeding the already Polarized Somali people than creating hate within them.
