The gone stray and the clouded dreams of Somalia’s regional leaders. In-depth analysis by Abdideck

Since from the crumple of Somalia powerful central government in the year 1991 which prompted the commencement of clan centered political rivalries and a tailored local and foreign political brokers’ network that are mainly stationed in the neighboring and Middle East countries made Somalia once the most dangerous place on earth. Somalia’s infamous myopic clan motivated leaders competed for a mere token that comes with a hefty conditions from foreign spoiler groups, mainly the enemy of the Somali people, these enemies were either after individual or group interests or implementing their countries agendas to tear and torn Somalia apart. To focus mainly on what flavored these foreign political spoiler cartels from within, it’s clear how Somalia current regional leaders are very interested to maintain their tradition of muddling up in Somalia’s foreign affair thus making the Somalia status grill remain intact.   

Somalia’s sovereignty as an independent nation has been in question since recently. Depreciating Somalia Federal Government by its corrupted regional leaders became a legal custom until February 2017 election that sought Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo as the President of Somalia Federal Republic and consequently the historical leaderships reforms in neighboring Ethiopia. The new political leaderships of Ethiopia altered the entire preexisting regional political row, and pledged for political, economical and social stability in the HoA region.  Generally, the political order of Horn African countries is led into a different new direction thus leaving Somalia’s regional leaders affairs in the region into suspense. The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) also changed the preexisting political diplomacy of Middle East countries thus distorting the regional leaders’ affairs in the Middle East especially the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Despite laying down all the above to impede the corrupted Somalia regional leaders direct involvements in foreign matters only to threaten Somalia’s sovereignty at the expense of small handouts, the FGS has also established a joint national security pacts with the neighboring countries which enabled the FGS to control movements, meetings and etc of the Somalia’s regional leaders in these countries. The FGS has positioned itself to uphold its political interests in the neighboring countries which once were a safe haven for regional leaders to set their unprecedented machinate against the FGS.

However the regional leaders still pose unimaginable threat to FGS ability to revive control over the interests of the Somali people around Somalia region, but the foundations laid by the FGS to tackle and address these threats is quite measurable.
